LA ALTAGRACIA CAVE
La Altagracia Cave, located just 30 minutes from Bávaro, is a natural wonder that features a freshwater lagoon the size of an Olympic pool. With its easy access, wide entrance, and clear waters, it is perfect for first-time divers. The cave, with a depth of up to 8 meters and a length of 50 meters, offers crystal-clear waters and impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations.
Named by the Taínos, the area's ancient inhabitants, the cave served as their source of drinking water. Diving in La Altagracia Cave is an unforgettable experience, enriched by moments of darkness that require the use of flashlights, adding excitement and mystery to the adventure.
